Time to repair the texture next to the kitchen pantry

Yes! First layer on the wall...hubs didnt cut the paint/texture when he removed a piece of molding...so I am filling in with a bit of popcorn texture stuff...looking forward to painting that wall...but not sure that I am looking forward to painting the wall and ceiling with the spaghetti splashed up above...not sure about the culprit either...wait, wrong word...perpetrator...but when I finish...the kitchen will look refreshed...amazing what a bit of paint will do...and yes, my brain works like this...hits all the train stations...

I suppose it's part of growing a wee bit older...forgetting this or that...so I need to make a list of my Outlander podcasts I enjoy as I attempt to survive Droughtlander!  Strange but this time its quite a bit easier to endure...have found several new shows to watch and still slogging through some favs...but still need the list:

Outlander BN event...and very normal activities post

Well, travelled to Fresno to the BN event for Outlander...first time in internal Fresno, normally only make it to the Island Waterpark on the periphery....it was a bit of a drive...71 miles as I live on the edge of nowhere...the westside of the Central Valley...which I happen to like...

The event: loads of fun and fun to meet more Outlander fans and just chat about one of my favorite book series...took a pic with Jamie but was a bit miffed that there was no Claire...after all this isn't the Jamie show but the Claire show and oh she picks up Jamie as a sidekick...so going to write to BN that next time we want Claire as well!!!!

A bit of laundry, excercise and now time to continue our eternal declutter and tidyup!

Weather good today - a mere 95 degrees...

A bit windy but glad to see this, as it brings the cooling temps from the coast...trying to figure out where I can live that is always 82 degrees on the West Coast...a bit more research required....

Orange is the New Black - Season 3

Just finished OITNB S3 - this series works because it reflects so many real life prisons that people and especially women put themselves in on the outside. The showrunner and writers do an excellent job of drawing the viewer in, when the series starts again, it's like a family reunion.  You are happy to see not only Piper but all of the surrounding characters...by now you know a little about them and during this season you learn a little more...

One of the best moments is the marriage of Morello as she epitomizes the desire of all people to be loved.  I always think of the writing of a doctor from San Francisco who treated AIDS patients and his query why people would participate in risky behavior even if it led to death...it's all about the desire to love and be loved.

Looking for love...head to your nearest Methodist church...you'll find people who will help you in that quest.

Very fun time last night watching the Warriors win the NBA Finals!!!!

More binge watching on the agenda for #OrangeIsTheNewBlack !!! Just so enjoy this series...how will it end?  Will Nicki return from Max? Where is the babba dadda?

Tim has grown the best tomatoes and we finally found a med to help with his neuropathy!!! Thanks be to God!

Wow, even longer than last post...well I am done with trying to use natural/homemade shampoos...just too difficult for me and my crew but still interest in living as small as possible!  Recent interests:  Outlander on Starz! Scrapbooking - Always! Reading - Forever! Writing - Painful! Cleaning - To Eternity and Beyond!!!

Gourds are in the ground...still love them! Pumpkins rock! Planted! Plenty of cukes and tomatoes!
